Since 1927, the Family YMCA of Lancaster and Fairfield County has delivered lasting personal and social changes. We work side by side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone – regardless of age, income, or background has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. We support every member of our community including kids, teens, adults, seniors, and families by providing programs that are educational, empowering, inclusive, and diverse.

When it comes to youth development, we strive to empower our young people to reach their full potential through classes and programs that cultivate the values, skills, and relationships that lead to positive behaviors and attitudes, better health and lifestyle habits, and higher educational achievements.

To promote healthy living, we have built a mission that is centered on balance, encourages good health and wellness, and forms strong connections through fitness, sports, fun, and similar interests. Not only do we want to improve individual wellbeing, but we also want to improve the wellbeing of our community as a whole.

Our social responsibility focuses on giving back to our community and inspiring positive action and change. We want to give back and support our neighbors by helping them develop skills and strengthen their emotional wellbeing through education, training, and personal connection. We aim to welcome, connect, and inspire our diverse demographic populations through local services that fosters the care and respect that all people need and deserve.
