Our Y’s preschool program is operated on an experiential learning philosophy: children learn while doing. Daily lessons, based on a nationally recognized and creative curriculum, are created to boost development through age-appropriate activities, and stimulating hands-on experiences, with a balance of teacher directed versus child directed play.

Our preschool is fully certified by the State of Ohio and is Step Up to Quality rated with a 4-star rating! Our qualified and well-trained staff provide safe, affordable, high-quality care so you can have peace of mind while you work to help your family succeed.

• Our Preschool is open from 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday
• Full and Part-Time options are available
• Ages 3 to 5
• Children must be potty trained

During the school year, when schools close for parent/teacher conference days, single-day holidays, and longer holiday breaks, the YMCA offers full-day child care from 7 am – 5:30 pm so that kids have a place to play and learn. Registration is required as space is limited.

For children in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Camps at the YMCA share one thing: they’re about discovery. Kids have the opportunity to explore nature, find new talents, try new activities, gain independence, and make lasting friendships and memories. Our staffing, instruction and programs are built around the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Only pay for the weeks your child will be attending. Financial assistance available. Registration opens in February/March each year. Register early to reserve your spot!
