Our Y’s preschool program is operated on an experiential learning philosophy: children learn while doing. Daily lessons, based on a nationally recognized and creative curriculum, are created to boost development through age-appropriate activities and stimulating hands-on experiences, with a balance of teacher-directed versus child-directed play.

Our preschool is fully certified by the State of Ohio and is Step Up to Quality rated with a 4-star rating! Our qualified and well-trained staff provide safe, affordable, high-quality care so you can have peace of mind while you work to help your family succeed.

• Our Preschool is open from 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday–Friday
• We follow the Lancaster City School calendar
• Preschool with and without Extended Care options are available
• Ages 3 to 5
• Children must be potty-trained

• Summer Preschool with Extended Care: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday–Friday
• Summer Preschool without Extended Care: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday–Friday
• Weekly themes
• No preschool program Thursday, July 3rd and Friday, July 4th due to the holiday
• Ages 3 to 5
• Children must be potty-trained
• Nap time implemented
