December 1st through January 20th the first 100 new memberships pay only $50.00 (joining fee) to join the YMCA. Gift certificates available with the option of membership activation starting January 1, 2018.

*As always there are no joiner fees for our Youth and Teen memberships.

Delay the Disease – The #1 Parkinson’s Exercise Program

The Robert K. Fox Family Y is now licensed to teach exercise classes to people with Parkinson’s disease. We will be implementing a community-based Parkinson’s-specific exercise class based on the Delay the Disease Parkinson’s Fitness Program. Participants will need to be cleared by a physician and also complete the intake process before being eligible for this program.

No matter how long you have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, it’s not too late to start exercising, and it’s never too early. The YMCA plans to start 1 class that will meet twice a week for 12 weeks and then build more classes quickly. Classes starting in 2017.
